1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern the Sportli mobile application, sportli.app and related beta services. Sportli is currently operated by Marcos Plohn under the product name Sportli and is not represented in this draft as a separately incorporated company.
By creating an account or using Sportli after these Terms become effective, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
2. Adults only and initial territory
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. The initial service is offered only in Israel. Do not create an account if you are under 18 or are using the service outside its authorized release territory.
3. Private beta
Sportli is under development. Features, availability, eligibility, data models and moderation processes may change. Access may be invitation-based, limited, suspended or ended. We will not materially change an active legal agreement without the notice or renewed acceptance required by applicable law.
4. Accounts and security
Provide accurate current information, keep your credentials confidential and do not share or transfer your account. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law. Notify sportliapp@gmail.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not impersonate another person, maintain accounts to evade enforcement, automate account creation or attempt to access another user's account.
5. What Sportli provides
Sportli helps adult padel players discover compatible players, organize matches, communicate in match and direct chats, manage social connections and build trust through attendance and community-safety tools.
Sportli is not a sports venue, booking agent, background-check service, emergency service, medical provider, law-enforcement service or guarantor of another user's identity, skill, behavior, attendance or safety.
6. Matches and real-world activity
Creating, joining or confirming a match is a commitment to other participants. Provide accurate match details, arrive on time and cancel promptly when necessary. Repeated no-shows, deceptive listings or disruptive conduct may lead to restrictions.
Padel and in-person meetings involve risks. Use your own judgment, choose safe public venues, follow venue rules, use appropriate equipment and seek professional advice when needed. Users are responsible for their own transportation, physical readiness, payments to venues and arrangements outside Sportli.
7. User content and chat
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Sportli a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and technically adapt that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve the service, comply with law and exercise or defend legal claims.
You must have the right to submit your content. Do not post illegal, infringing, deceptive, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, threatening or privacy-invasive content. Chats are for relevant, respectful communication; they may not be used for harassment, spam, fraud or evading a block or restriction.
8. Community safety
You must follow the Community Guidelines. Sportli provides tools to block users and report profiles, messages or conduct. Blocking limits future interactions but may not remove shared match history or information already received by others.
If there is immediate danger or suspected criminal activity, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service. Sportli support is not monitored continuously and cannot provide emergency intervention.
9. Moderation, restrictions and appeals
Sportli may review reports and relevant account, content, match or technical context; remove or limit content; warn users; restrict chat or account features; place an account on hold; suspend or terminate access; preserve evidence; and make reports required by law. Measures may be temporary, permanent or pending human review.
Where the product offers an appeal, you may submit one through the available flow. Sportli may uphold, shorten, reverse or otherwise modify a decision. Safety and enforcement records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not promise a specific result or continuous response time.
10. Prohibited technical conduct
You may not disrupt the service, probe or bypass security, introduce malware, scrape or harvest data, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits it, use unauthorized automation, interfere with another user, misuse APIs or attempt to discover private moderator or reporter information.
11. Intellectual property
Sportli's software, design, branding and original materials are owned by Sportli or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as intended during the beta.
12. Third-party services
The service depends on third-party infrastructure and may link to venues or external services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Sportli is not responsible for independent third-party conduct, availability or transactions, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Availability and changes
Sportli may modify, pause or discontinue features and may experience downtime or errors. We may release security or operational changes without advance notice when reasonably necessary. We will provide legally required notice for material changes affecting your rights.
14. Account closure
You may permanently delete your account using the process at sportli.app/delete-account/. Sportli may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security or safety risk. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an appeal, but urgent protective action may occur first.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available.” Sportli does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every user is truthful or safe, that matches will occur, or that the service will meet every purpose. Nothing here limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sportli and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising from use of the beta, other users, matches or third-party venues. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or other mandatory rights.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use, your content or your material breach of these Terms. This does not reduce non-waivable consumer protections.
18. Governing law and disputes
This draft is intended to be governed by the laws of Israel, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections. Disputes should first be raised at sportliapp@gmail.com. Any court proceeding must be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Final venue and dispute wording remains subject to qualified review.
19. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or these Terms without consent. Sportli may transfer operation of the service as part of a lawful reorganization or transfer, subject to required notice and privacy protections.
20. Contact and changes
Questions may be sent to sportliapp@gmail.com. This is not an emergency channel. Future versions will identify their version, publication and effective dates; material changes will be handled as required by law.
